About

Frost

Features

Frost is a fast, private controller for 12V portable fridges. Set the temperature, watch it hold, and get an alert before your food or your car battery is in trouble. Works with fridges built on the Alpicool controller platform, sold under Alpicool, Vevor, Brass Monkey and other brands. Frost is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by any fridge manufacturer. WHAT IT DOES - Live temperature and target, refreshed every couple of seconds - Temperature and voltage history, so you can watch the compressor cycling - Alerts when the temperature drifts, when voltage falls toward the cutoff, or when the fridge drops out of range - Battery protection with the real cutoff voltages shown, so you can pick a level that won't leave you with a car that won't start - Home screen widget and a Live Activity, with an honest timestamp when the fridge is out of range - Try it first: demo mode explores the whole app with a simulated fridge, no hardware needed PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No analytics. No network calls. Nothing leaves your phone. HONEST ABOUT RANGE These fridges use Bluetooth, not wifi. Frost monitors your fridge while your phone is nearby, and tells you plainly when it's out of range rather than showing a stale reading.
