Blimps is a top-down, multi-vehicular sandbox RPG and roguelite "escape room" built for solo captains and local couch co-op duos. The surface world is running out of resources. Your ultimate objective is simple but monumental: find a way to escape it. To survive, you must master a steep learning curve, piece together a massive mechanical puzzle, and optimize your strategy across multiple play sessions. Every time you leave your Hangar, you lose power, pollution clouds spread, and rival pirate blimps multiply across the sky. Time is ticking. Can you solve the world of Blimps before you are completely overwhelmed? ▶ THE THREE PHASES OF THE SKY Your journey to escape is broken into a dynamic, shifting campaign where every second matters (10 real-world seconds equals 15 minutes of game time): - The Opening Game: The Billionaire Space Race (Days 1–3): Race against ruthless corporate competitors—Space Y, Nile X, and Sir Space—to reach the Moon. Recruit 10 VIP crew members and secure 10 Golden Cargo crates to launch a rocket to the Moon (and maybe even a hidden silo to Mars) to locate the mythical Moon Crystal. Secure first place within 3 game days to claim a $1,000,000 reward! - The Middle Game: The Sandbox Expansion: With the timed space race settled, the world expands into a building and survival playground. Establish solar and fusion towns, fight to become the King of the Seven Kingdoms, and take on arcade mini-games to boost your ultimate score. - The End Game: The Earth Drill Escape: Use the Moon Crystal to power your Earth Drill beneath your Hangar. Educate and train your crew, board your drill, and plunge to the center of the Earth paradise before the surface collapses. ▶ ARCADE MINI-GAMES & MULTI-VEHICLE MASTERY Break away from the cockpit to complete tasks that grant game-changing score bonuses, gold, and ship upgrades: - Tactical Dogfights: Engage rivals in fast-paced twin-stick shooting or close-quarters, elemental "Rock-Paper-Scissors" combat (Water douses Fire, Fire melts Ice, Ice freezes Water). - 4-Floor Dungeon Crawler: Descend in a mini earth drill to extinguish flames with your water gun to harvest fire ammo, and smash rocks with your shovel plow to extract raw gold. Battle Shiska Bob, a giant flame boss, on the bottom floor! Smelt the gold into bars after each run, then use them to upgrade your Blimp's "Air class," boosting its size and specs. - Side-Scrolling Gauntlet: Jump and shoot through a 2D platformer highway. Pop hot-air balloons to steal gold bars, shoot down cyberplane minions, and battle The Dogcatcher—a pirate blimp captained by an annoying barking dog. - 2D Top-Down Cyberpunk Motorcycle Race: Switch gears entirely and drop onto a neon-drenched track. Race solo or with a partner through a dark cyberpunk setting to gather 8 glowing crystals. Deposit them into 8 active turret towers to win 8 precious gemstones, then secure them at the Gemstone Greenhouse to claim your race winnings! - Multi-Vehicular Mastery: Take control of submarines, earth-drilling machines, hot-air balloons, motorcycles, and even a funicular! ▶ NATIVE iOS & APPLE HARDWARE FEATURES - Premium Indie Experience: 100% Ad-Free with no microtransactions or paywalls. - Full WiFi & Bluetooth Controller Support: Connect your Xbox or PlayStation controller to turn your mobile device into a portable console. - Universal Play: Built to scale perfectly across iPhone, iPad, and Apple Mac desktops. - Replayable Roguelite Challenge: Use your in-game Captain's Log to track complex missions and the in-game HELP computer for reference advice. Finish the entire gauntlet in under 60 minutes without using console cheat codes to secure a high-score bonus! Try before you buy! A mining run, a profitable trade route, or one more pirate to take down. What does your ship need next? Driftbound is an idle space RPG where you start with one ship and work your way from the safe core worlds to the lawless rim. Mine, craft, trade and fight through a procedurally generated universe. Set your ship to work, close the game and come back to see how it went. MAKE A LIVING IN SPACE Mine asteroid belts, harvest gas, scan for salvage and turn raw materials into better gear. Stations have their own economies, so a full cargo hold is worth more if you know where to sell it. Take delivery jobs, follow leads from station residents, or carry contraband past customs if you're willing to risk your cargo. PICK A SIDE IN THE FACTION WAR Earn a faction's trust and take its oath. Complete three Orders a week, climb ten Merit ranks and choose a doctrine that suits how you play. Patrols, deliveries and scans help push your side's front. Watch systems change hands, hunt named captains, intercept convoys and work towards a Warlord's stronghold. Special war encounters wait for you to start the fight. BUILD A SHIP THAT CAN HANDLE IT Fit weapons, shields, engines and cargo upgrades. Craft equipment, collect rare modules and choose perks for the jobs you enjoy. Fight pirates with automatic weapons, then decide when to fire a missile, repair or get out. Better gear opens up tougher places with better salvage. THERE'S MORE AFTER YOUR FIRST RUN Follow the campaign and faction stories, hatch space pets and collect outfits and trophies. Re-enlist to earn Renown for permanent Admiralty upgrades. Push into harder Deep Runs or descend into the Undertow to see how far your build can take you. Your pets stay with you when you re-enlist. PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE Travel, work, pet incubation and ordinary combat can progress while you're away. The return report shows what happened, and you can carry on with a mission or change your plans. Offline play works without the online features. Connect when you want to trade with other players on the Exchange, see nearby pilots or try a friendly duel. No ads, in-app purchases or subscriptions. No account signup required. Pixel-art ships and worlds, adjustable text size, and nine languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Czech, Bulgarian and Simplified Chinese.
