This simple but very effective app lets you stream web radios or any kind of audio stream by simply providing the URL of the stream. If the stream provides metadata, that will be displayed in the app and in the "Now Playing" section on your iOS device and on CarPlay, along with the station name. Your station list is synced across all your devices and is securely stored in your iCloud account. You can change stations just like a real radio by using the previous and next buttons in the iOS "Now Playing" section, on CarPlay, or through your headphones' remote control.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WSGI at 5.0 against Streamer's 4.4. Streamer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 58 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WSGI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Streamer has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
WSGI ships an update every 58 months, Streamer every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
