Want to see all salmon related dishes in every restaurant in your area with a single click of a button? How about some pictures, comments and ratings to help you make comparisons between them? How about filtering those comments and ratings according to users with the same taste in food? Now you can thanks to Pl8it. Knowing what a dish looks like is really important when deciding what to order. Pl8it allows dishes to be seen, rated, and commented on individually. Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: BiteSight at every 8 days against Pl8it's every 26 months. BiteSight also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). Pl8it's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pl8it against 4.9 for BiteSight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BiteSight has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
