Every flight deserves more than a line. FlyTab is the electronic logbook for pilots, from student pilots to airline pilots: it keeps the route, the track and the replay of every flight, and keeps your hours, your licences and your EASA logbook up to date. Try the app without an account, with the demo on the sign-in screen. FlyTab speaks English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. THE LOGBOOK ON THE MAP β’ Home is the map of all your flights, with your logbook underneath. Tap a flight to open its page: route, times, aircraft and track. β’ The map tilts into 3D with the terrain, and the track rises to the altitude flown. You choose the basemap: dark, light, terrain or streets. β’ Every aircraft and every airfield has its page, among 17,500 airfields and France's microlight fields. β’ Your aircraft appear live on the map when they fly, thanks to ADS-B. LOGGING A FLIGHT β’ Give two values among departure, arrival and block time: FlyTab works out the third. β’ The logbook has the columns of the EASA logbook: single- or multi-pilot, function on board, day, night, IFR. Simulator sessions have their own logbook. β’ FlyTab reads your logbook over and flags inconsistencies. β’ With no network, your entries wait on the phone. DURING THE FLIGHT β’ FlyTab records the track of the flight, even with the screen off and no network: position, altitude and speed. β’ It starts from Siri, the Action button or Control Center, and FlyTab offers it when you arrive at one of your usual fields. β’ Follow the flight on the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island and the Apple Watch. β’ On landing, the flight is already filled in: fields, times and night time. FlyTab spots holds, go-arounds and touch-and-goes. AFTER THE FLIGHT β’ Replay the flight in 3D over satellite imagery, with altitude, speed and vertical speed. β’ Share it as a video, ready for a story, or as a picture with its route. β’ Every night, FlyTab can fetch the ADS-B track and the weather (METAR) of the flights that have none. IMPORTING YOUR HISTORY β’ Paper logbook: take photos of your pages, FlyTab reads every line and you check the result. β’ Flying club: bring in your flights from Aerogest or OpenFlyers. β’ Files: import a CSV from another app or from AIMS eCrew, and your GPX or KML tracks, one by one or all together. β’ ADS-B: find a flight from the aircraft's registration and the date. LICENCES AND RECENT EXPERIENCE β’ FlyTab works out the expiry dates of your licences, ratings and medical certificates, and reminds you ahead of time. β’ Your recent experience is worked out from your flights: carrying passengers by day and by night, SEP revalidation, LAPL(A) recency. β’ Follow your progress towards the LAPL(A), the PPL(A) or the ATPL(A), requirement by requirement. β’ For airline pilots: PF or PM, operator checks, flight time limits and the punctuality of your flights. EXPORTS AND REVIEWS β’ Export your logbook as a PDF in the EASA format, as an hours statement, as Excel or CSV, and your tracks as KML or GPX. β’ Receive a copy of your whole logbook every month, by email or in the Files app. β’ A recap sums up every month and every year, and FlyTab marks your milestones from 10 to 10,000 hours. β’ Widgets for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen: your hours, your latest flight, your expiry dates, your flight time limits and your progress. AMONG FRIENDS β’ Add your pilot friends to see each other's flights on a map, with no followers and no public profile. β’ Like and comment on a flight, say who flew with you. You can hide a flight, and block or report an account. YOUR DATA β’ Sign in without a password: passkey, Apple or Google account, or a code sent by email. β’ Your data is hosted in Europe and never sold. No ads, and your logbook can be exported or deleted at any time. PRICE FlyTab is free, with no subscription and no limit on flights. Only two features that use artificial intelligence are paid per use: reading a paper logbook from photos, and analysing a CSV that FlyTab cannot read by itself.
