Five lights. One split second. How quick are you? Pole Position tests your reactions and timing with two motorsport-inspired games. Chase your personal best, take on an opponent and find time on your next run. LIGHTS OUT Hold the screen as five lights illuminate. When they go out, release as quickly as you can. Jump the start and the run is over. Randomised timing keeps every attempt unpredictable. SHIFT POINT Time seven gear changes as the rev lights climb. Tap to shift on the final cyan light, then see how early or late each change was. Bring your average timing error closer to zero. CHALLENGE MODE Create a lobby, choose a nickname and invite a friend with a link or code. Or browse open lobbies to find an opponent. Each player gets five new attempts and 24 hours from when the second player joins. Your best valid run wins. Play at your own pace; you do not need to be online together. An internet connection is required, but Game Center is not. Lobby access stays on the device used to join. YOUR RACE ENGINEER See coaching alongside your performance charts, with context from past results and detailed shift analysis. On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled and its model available, Race Engineer generates feedback on device using your gameplay statistics. App-calculated coaching remains available when the model is unavailable. Your coaching history is not sent to an external AI service. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Follow your best times, averages and performance history. Celebrate personal bests and leaderboard climbs with animated results and rank badges. Tap your stats for more context, explore charts, export results and back up your data. Sign in to Game Center for global leaderboards and achievement syncing. SECRET COLLECTION Discover 12 hidden collectibles through playful surprises and special gameplay moments. Follow the clues, enjoy unlock celebrations and build your collection. MAKE IT YOURS Choose Grand Prix, Circuit, Space or Aurora for an animated background, or keep things minimal with the background off. Pick from ten app icons, including the default Apex design. ROOM TO PLAY Enjoy layouts adapted for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Play on iPad in portrait or landscape, with controls and game displays that use the extra space. iPhone Duo layouts adapt as its display changes. Jump into a game with Siri, Shortcuts or Home Screen quick actions. Adjust sound, haptics and gameplay settings, with accessibility options including VoiceOver support. Wait for it. Then react.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pole Position at none against Toy Warfare's 10. Pole Position also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Toy Warfare's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7.5K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
