The protagonist is a man who investigates strange occurrences—a sort of paranormal detective. Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wish Us Luck at 88% against The Wild Case's 59%. The Wild Case's advantage is ratings volume (338 vs 17) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. The Wild Case sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Wish Us Luck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
The Wild Case holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Wild Case has 338 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of The Wild Case's written reviews are positive against 88% of Wish Us Luck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
The Wild Case ships an update every 2 months, Wish Us Luck every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
