SmartFoto vs Journey Poster

Turn travel photos and workout routes into 3D landscapes, route posters, and moving memories. Journey Poster brings together the places you visited, the photos you took, and the routes you recorded. Rediscover an old trip, revisit a favorite hike, or turn this year's adventures into something worth keeping. YOUR JOURNEY IN 3D Explore ISLAND, a new way to see your travels as a floating 3D landscape. Bring terrain, satellite imagery, your route, and selected photos into one scene. Rotate and adjust the view to find your favorite angle. Create an animated keepsake with supported Live Photo and video exports. Terrain and imagery availability varies by location and network conditions. BRING YOUR WORKOUT ROUTE INTO THE STORY With your permission, import supported workout routes from Apple Health and use them with your travel photos. Revisit a walk, run, ride, or hike along its recorded route, with available distance, duration, and elevation statistics. Match photos to moments along the workout and use the selected route across supported templates. Apple Health import is optional; ordinary photo journeys remain available without it. DESIGN YOUR OWN TRAVEL MAP GUIDE combines your map, route, and photographs in an editable layout. Move and resize photos, refine place names and descriptions, and choose landscape or portrait formats for your story. Explore other styles: • ATLAS — Combine photographs with your journey route. • GRID — Create photo collages with a route index. • RECEIPT — Make a travel receipt with places and trip statistics. • ROUTE — Connect photographs with locations along the route. • FILM — Tell your story through a sequence of photo frames. • PPT — Bring maps, routes, and photographs together. Options and export formats vary by template. A YEAR OF PLACES AND MEMORIES Create an annual travel keepsake with selected journey photos and year-wide statistics. Choose the trips and pictures to feature, then save or share your year in travel. Browse individual journeys in the photo wall or timeline. Edit titles, place names, and descriptions, revisit your route, and return to your work whenever inspiration strikes. START WITH THE PHOTOS YOU ALREADY HAVE No recorded workout route? Select photos that retain their original capture time and location to build a journey map—even after the trip is over. Photo-based routes connect or plan between selected locations and may differ from your actual path. Journey Poster is for travel memories and workout review, not navigation, medical advice, or training prescriptions. SAVE STILL OR MOVING MEMORIES Export single images, image sets, long posters, Live Photos, or videos where supported. Preview supported animations before saving. Newly created Live Photos are silent, and playback depends on the receiving app or platform. Eligible accounts receive three free exports. Lifetime Unlock is a one-time purchase for unlimited exports and removal of the branding footer; it is not a recurring subscription. YOUR PHOTOS, YOUR CONTROL Photo and workout processing takes place on your device. Original photos, complete routes, and raw Apple Health records are not uploaded to our business servers. Map and terrain services receive necessary geographic information. Private iCloud sync is optional for ordinary photo journeys. Health-derived content stays outside the App's iCloud sync. Cloud work history retains only the still cover of a Live Photo, so keep complete works in Photos. Optional workout-service analysis requires separate consent.
