西莫 vs VVAE for V2EX

西莫电机圈是为全球电机爱好者提供的技术交流平台。凝聚电机人，尽谈电机事。

VVAE is a client for V2EX, a Hacker News-style community for the Chinese-speaking world, where developers, designers, and other creative people talk about programming, startups, gadgets, careers, and life. Reading is free. VVAE Premium unlocks signing in (to reply, post, and more) and the AI assistant, which runs on your own API key. Most of V2EX is written in Simplified Chinese. VVAE's interface is in English, and the AI assistant replies in English, so it can sum up a long Chinese thread for you. Browse the home feed and hot topics, explore nodes (V2EX's topic boards), search, and keep up with your notifications. Posts and replies are carefully typeset, so even long threads are easy to read. No ads, no gratuitous animations, no nagging. Your login and API keys stay in the iOS Keychain. The AI assistant uses your own API key: summarize a whole thread, rank the answers in it, and ask follow-up questions. Choose from eight providers, including OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Ollama Cloud, and any OpenAI-compatible API. Requests go straight to your provider, not through our servers, and your provider bills you for usage. Premium does not include AI credits. Built for both iPhone and iPad: a familiar tab bar on iPhone and a true three-column layout on iPad. Already on V2EX? You also get a Hot Today widget, true-black dark mode, and V2EX PRO support. VVAE is an unofficial third-party client and is not affiliated with V2EX. Content comes from v2ex.com, and use is subject to V2EX's rules.
