Scuttlebutt App vs The Funding Project

Scuttlebutt is the only boating app you’ll need – it brings together important tools and resources for your next boating adventure, and it also brings together the boating community. Why have multiple, separate apps for topics like live weather conditions, wind, waves, navigational information, and social networking when Scuttlebut includes all those features and more? Connect with other boaters and plan the details of your day on the water with the Scuttlebutt app! Created by boaters for boaters. Scuttlebutt delivers the quality content you're looking for and helps make your boating experience better. You can use the Scuttlebutt app for important tasks like booking a dock space, making reservations, connecting with local marinas, and learning about ports and destinations throughout the great lakes and waterways of the U.S. and beyond. The app includes a map function, with wind and precipitation overlays and can tap into live weather buoy information including wave heights, wind gusts, humidity, and water temperature. Powerful, new functionality. New and current users of Scuttlebutt have the ability to enjoy new feeds to assist with trip planning from NOAA chart data; route plotting software from Savvy Navvy; and Points of Interest from Waterway Guide showcasing marinas, yacht clubs, bridges, and anchorage information. In addition, Scuttlebutt now offers “Social Groups” that can be either public or private to allow users to channel their feed. Marine businesses can post on their own content channels by creating a business page. Scuttlebutt users can take advantage of free offers like a free Boat Fix telematics device to remotely monitor their vessel, 10% off a boat history report from Boathistoryreport.com, free online magazine subscriptions, and a limited number of free BoatUS memberships just for being part of the Scuttlebutt community. For recreational boaters, power boaters, sail boaters, and fishing boaters! We invite you to get the Scuttlebutt app and get ready to really enjoy the water and being on your boat with family and friends. We all know that boaters are a fun, friendly, close-knit community! And now Scuttlebutt is the perfect digital space to come together and easily connect with other boaters, share photos and boating adventures, and access important information.
