SummerProof will help you find what to do during the summer. You can challenge your friends by doing activities and gaining points, however, there is a catch: everything that you do requires a photo as proof [PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!] The goal is to complete as many activities as possible during the summer and send your album to your friends as proof. The winner is the person with the most points. Some activities give more points than others, ranging from 10 to 50 points. If you complete three consecutive activities, you earn bonus points. Features: - Add photos or make a collage to prove an activity - Set a prize and all the participants before starting the challenge - Edit the hashtags in the album page - View photos in full size in the album page - Share your album as PDF with anyone* - No subscriptions - No ads We will update the app regularly to offer new challenges when the summer challenge is over. SummerProof is free to download and features marked with a star (*) require the premium version, an optional one-time purchase.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: MemoryMaps at 5.0 against SummerProof's 4.0. MemoryMaps also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 9 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MemoryMaps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and SummerProof sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

MemoryMaps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MemoryMaps has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

MemoryMaps ships an update every 9 days, SummerProof every 9 months. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
