Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Kosher.com at none against Rocket Slice's shown. Kosher.com also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 41) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Rocket Slice's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Rocket Slice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kosher.com has 1.1K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Kosher.com ships an update every 3 months, Rocket Slice monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
