Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Urban Press at 5.0 against Kosher.com's 4.7. Kosher.com's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 43) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Urban Press holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kosher.com has 1.1K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Kosher.com ships an update every 3 months, Urban Press every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
