The app Smart Urinal is used for commissioning controlling the F5 Smart Urinal Sensor, and this also allows additional functions to be programmed such as calendar-based flushing times or the recording of statistical data. In addition, system functions such as the so-called "simultaneous suppression" of flushes can also be realised. This means that if several urinals are used at the same time, the individual flushes are started one after the other in order to achieve a clean flush result. In conjunction with centralised room monitoring, the sensor fitted to the ceiling supports automatic flushing of urinals after each use. The sensor registers user presence in the room using only physical parameters, i.e. without the use of any cameras. Just one sensors is needed for up to 20 single urinals and existing urinal configurations can be upgraded with the system.
