SONICUE Control vs Extron Control Pro

SONICUE Control is the official app from Dynacord that allows customized control of compatible Dynacord products (such as the MXE Matrix Mix Engine or IX Series amplifiers). SONICUE Control is a panel viewer app, that allows users to operate SONICUE control panels that have been designed with the SONICUE Panel Designer; part of the SONICUE sound system software (1.2 and higher). With comprehensive design flexibility and pin protection, the SONICUE Control app can host multiple control panels for individual operators of sound systems. Once the iOS device is connected to the same network as an MXE5 or IX amplifier and a control panel in SONICUE control is active, the operator can control and monitor all assigned functions and parameters. The SONICUE Control app does not read or store your location.

Extron Control Pro is a powerful, easy-to-use AV control app that gives users complete, mobile access to Extron control systems from Apple iOS devices. Designed for flexibility and ease of deployment, the app delivers a seamless, highly responsive control experience—whether you’re managing a single room or multiple spaces across a facility. After a quick initial setup, your mobile device quickly connects to the desired room and automatically loads the same user interfaces found on Extron control products. No lengthy configuration or custom programming is needed. The familiar interface mirrors the experience of TouchLink® Pro touchpanels, Network Button Panels, eBUS button panels, or MediaLink® controllers, ensuring intuitive operation for all users.
