The ToiletSeva app allows users in India search, rate and add free, paid and complimentary (for customers or visitors) toilets in the vicinity of current geographical location or a given address. The app provides a dashboard with the summary of search results. The user can sort search results based upon distance, overall ratings, last year ratings, last 6 months ratings, last 3 months ratings and last 2 weeks ratings. The search results can be refined using innovative network options. Each search result is tagged as claimed or reviewed or probable (speculative). Each search result is also tagged as open or closed, as per opening hours and current time. The user can choose to filter search results based upon cost (free/paid/students/customers/visitors), type (private/government subsidized), style (Indian/western), service (urinal only/full-fledged), access (gents/ladies), amenities (water supply, liquid soap, washbasin, paper towels, diaper changing table, sanity napkins, lights, mirror, toilet paper, automatic flush, dryer) and location (only toilet, restaurant/café/food mall/petrol pump/shopping mall/bank/event hall/powder room/eToilet/residence/theater/auditorium/educational institute/government building/corporate building/store/bus stand/railway station/metro station/temple/mosque/church/gurudwara/synagogue). Map view for search results, adds visual convenience. Clicking on any specific search result redirects user to detailed features screen. Details including but not limited to map, cost, type, style, service, access, amenities and location, are provided. Clicking on map can allow users leveraging navigation engine on their devices, to seek out directions. Overview part of details screen provides address, phone number and opening hours. Reviews section displays not only overall rating but also ratings for sub-categories like cleanliness, water, toilet papers, liquid soap or sanitizer, washbasin, paper towels or dryer, lights. Similar to search results screen, ratings can be refined further as last year ratings, last 6 months ratings, last 3 months ratings, last 2 weeks ratings and network level options. The user is highly encouraged to add reviews for the overall quality, along with sub-categories. The claim place option allows the owners for toilets claim ownership. The users can also choose to report specific or general issues for any toilet. The user can add a new toilet using address, features and opening hours. Features for new location are consistent with search results’ filtering options: cost (free/paid/students/customers/visitors), type (private/government subsidized), style (Indian/western), service (urinal only/full-fledged), access (gents/ladies), amenities (water supply, liquid soap, washbasin, paper towels, diaper changing table, sanity napkins, lights, mirror, toilet paper, automatic flush, dryer) and location (only toilet, restaurant/café/food mall/petrol pump/shopping mall/bank/event hall/powder room/eToilet/residence/theater/auditorium/educational institute/government building/corporate building/store/bus stand/railway station/metro station/temple/mosque/church/gurudwara/synagogue). The level 1 networking and volunteer network are deemed to be unique techniques to get trustworthy search results. The user can choose to form a level 1 network with everyone or chosen individuals from their contacts. Once enabled, the user can then get an access to ratings only from their level 1 network. The user can also choose to become a volunteer which when approve, can provide an access to ratings only from volunteer network. The app offers convenient access to visited places. The app currently supports 3 Indian languages, Hindi, English and Marathi. The app has currently focused on providing service to only users in India.
