Is today a fast day? Whose feast is it? What does the Church read today? The Narrow Path answers from your own tradition's calendar, every day. The Narrow Path is a daily companion for Eastern Orthodox Christians, catechumens and inquirers. It was built from the ground up for the Orthodox faith, for the Greek, Antiochian, OCA, Russian, Serbian and Romanian traditions, on the New or Old Calendar as your Church keeps it. TODAY, IN ONE PLACE The fast and the feast, the day's Scripture readings and hymns, a short daily reflection, and a prayer to begin. All of it follows your tradition's calendar. Ask about this reading takes the day's Gospel to Ask the Tradition in one tap. SAINT OF THE DAY The lives of the saints commemorated today, with their hymns, and original icons for a growing number of saints and feasts. Share a saint's card with someone who needs it, or tap Ask about this saint. A free widget shows today's saint and the fast rule on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. THE WHOLE PSALTER All twenty kathismata, read by stasis. Pray the Psalter through in twenty days, or in a week. THE FULL ORTHODOX BIBLE Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch and the Maccabees, in their proper places in the Old Testament. The Bible your Church actually reads. PRAYER Morning, midday, evening and night prayers, prayers by topic, and a daily reminder to return to prayer. Set the text size and typeface for every reader. CHURCH FATHERS BY TOPIC In the Library, a hundred passages from the Church Fathers on ten topics, from prayer and fasting to the Eucharist, each with its source and translation named. CATECHUMEN TRACK Becoming Orthodox? A complete five-unit course on Orthodox faith, worship, history and practice, with quizzes along the way. PRAYER JOURNAL AND CONFESSION Keep your prayer requests and mark them answered. Prepare for Confession with an examination of conscience drawn from Orthodox tradition. Your confession preparation never leaves your device. ASK THE TRADITION AND BIBLE STUDY Ask about theosis, the Divine Liturgy, the holy icons or a hard passage of Scripture, and receive answers grounded in the Church Fathers and the Councils. Ask in Greek, Russian, Serbian or Spanish, and it answers in your language. It is an AI assistant with strict guardrails, not an authority: always take your questions to your priest. A free widget puts a question of the day on your iPhone Home Screen, and a shortcut to Ask the Tradition on your Lock Screen. FREE, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Today, Saint of the Day, the Psalter, the full Orthodox Bible, the prayers, the Catechumen Track, Confession preparation and the fasting calendar are all free. Ask the Tradition and Bible Study include a free daily allowance, the Prayer Journal includes free entries to start, and every Church Fathers topic opens with two free passages. No account is required; sign in only if you want a backup on another device. PRO Pro gives full access to Ask the Tradition and Bible Study, with Bible Study Deep Dive, to every Church Fathers passage, and to the Prayer Journal beyond its free entries. It adds up to three more daily prayer reminders, each opening its own prayer, plus Daily Scripture widgets for your iPhone Home Screen and Lock Screen. Choose monthly or annual; the annual plan is the better value. A free trial is available to eligible new subscribers. The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Holy Trinity Orlando at none against The Narrow Path's 2. Holy Trinity Orlando also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). The Narrow Path's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 4). On price, rating and review sentiment there is nothing between them.
