Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Ixirweb at 5.0 against eM Client's 3.7. eM Client's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (47 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ixirweb sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. eM Client asks for nothing beyond the download.
Ixirweb holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eM Client has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
