Find out how long it will take to finish your book. Simply log your reading sessions. Reading Time is built for readers who care about finishing important books, but read in short, irregular sessions. Instead of pages, streak pressure, or generic estimates, it shows the remaining effort for each book based on how you actually read. This lets you decide, realistically, whether a book fits into your life right now. Start reading and stop when you’re done. Reading Time learns from your sessions and shows how much effort is left for each book at your own pace. If you’ve ever thought “I want to read this, but I don’t know if I have time,” or found yourself starting books and never finishing them, or felt put off by apps that expect daily consistency, Reading Time was made for you.
Limbur
Read full descriptionHide full description
Limbur turns the books you read into a visual world that unfolds alongside the story. Photograph a passage from your book and Limbur brings a moment from it to life as an illustration. Continue reading and capture another passage later, and that world moves forward with you. Characters can age, change their appearance, suffer an injury, acquire something new, or simply become more clearly described. Places can return transformed by time, weather, circumstance, or everything the story has revealed since you last saw them. Those changes carry into the illustrations that follow. A familiar character remains recognisable, but no longer frozen at the moment you first encountered them. A place can feel familiar while reflecting what has happened there. The result is a growing visual interpretation of the story as you experience it, shaped passage by passage. Limbur follows your reading Limbur works from the passages you choose to capture. It follows the story at your pace and reflects what has been revealed to you so far, allowing its picture of the book to develop naturally as you continue reading. You can return to the characters and places you have encountered, revisit earlier passages, and browse the illustrations that have accumulated throughout your journey through the book. Read in whatever way suits you Limbur is designed to sit alongside reading rather than replace it. Read a paperback in bed, a hardback at your desk, a novel on Kindle, or a book on another e-reader. When you reach a passage you would like to see, photograph it and let Limbur bring that moment into view. See a passage differently An illustration does not have to be the final word on a scene. You can ask Limbur to choose another moment from the same passage or refine an illustration you already have, giving you another way to picture what you have read. Your first 10 Moments are included Creating an illustration uses one Moment, as does creating another version of one. Every new account begins with 10 complimentary Moments, so you can begin building the visual world of your first book straight away. Additional Moment packs are available through in-app purchase. Open a book, settle into the story, and watch its world take shape around you.
