Do you like liquid simulations? Do you like the flow behavior of water? Do you like bomb explosions? If yes, then you will have much fun with the Physics Sandbox app. [by gaming-apps.com] Three physics simulations in One: 1. Shipping / Raft Survival: You can build your own ship or use a pre-builted boat and try to survive, if you go on a raft trip with your boat now. 2. Powder Game: If one use the real-time sandbox, then you can play with our bomb simulator or simulate diverse states of waterbody under different influences in every areas of the room. Furthermore you can build for example a house and let it explode later. 3. Liquid simulator: One can watch various structures, ships, buildings, dust etc. and they interact together in different forms, if you insert prefabricated user-actions like a spawner... into the Simulation. Features: - this game is free! - a) sandbox, build for examle a wall and throw bombs to it (Powder Game) - b) raft survival (shipping mode) - c) 24 prefabricated level designs (simulation mode) - construct your own boat with 13 different single parts of a ship - 6 prefabricated levels in the section "shipping" - one can add to a own constructed boat 4 prefabricated - furthermore: 5 bombs types + 5 upgrades per bomb with different explosions - 4000 water particles (soft bodies /powder/ dust) - watch the general behavior of fluid, e.g. pressure, flow behavior, spread in the observation room, special effects, etc. - build and control your boat - create various structures like a house, a seesaw, a tower ... be creative And now have fun with our free physics game everybody! by gaming-apps.com This game is free, but shows ads.

Pour. Mix. Destroy. Repeat. Drizzl isn't just a sandbox. It's a living physics engine. Drizzl is a falling sand simulator that tracks thousands of particles as they flow, pile, and interact in surprising ways. Pour Sand, swirl Fluid, stretch Slime and Goop, drift Gas, build with Wall, then drop in a Solid or hang a Rope and watch everything respond. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES - Mix Materials: What happens when heavy sand hits light gas? Or when a rope swings through slime? - Create Art and destroy it (if you please). Choose colors and brush size for each experiment. - Discover Interactions: Every combination behaves differently. Experiment with gravity, mixing, and flow to find your own satisfying loops. - Live Sound: The sound isn't a loop. It follows the physics and knows the difference between a soft slide and a heavy crash. Mix materials and you mix the soundscape, an ASMR soundtrack that is yours alone. - Little Ideas: Follow an optional creative idea when you want direction. There is no score and no required finish. THE EXPERIENCE - Pour & Slice: Create satisfying mounds, then slice or scoop clean lines through them. - Tilt & Chaos: Tilt to slide the pile, or shake your device to send everything flying. - Rewind: Return to a moment worth keeping. Pause, open the Hatch to let it drain, or clear the canvas for a new start. - Zone Out: A quiet break, or just satisfying that fidget itch. THE DETAILS - Sand, Gas, and Wall are free to explore. Fluid, Slime, Goop, Solid, and Rope are included with Unlock All. Try them with one free session or an optional rewarded ad when available, then purchase Unlock All for permanent access and no interruptive ads. - Haptics follow the motion on supported devices. - No accounts. No login. Core play works without an account; ads and store actions may need a connection. Existing Fluid Pack purchases carry over as Unlock All under the same Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases if the entitlement does not appear. Previous native canvases do not transfer to this new canvas format.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Drizzl at 5.0 against Water Physics Simulation's 4.2. Drizzl also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Water Physics Simulation's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Water Physics Simulation sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Drizzl sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Drizzl holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Water Physics Simulation has 4.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Water Physics Simulation ships an update every 2 months, Drizzl every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
