Hawk Communications vs LOUIS Field

Hawk Solutions is an integrated Web and Mobile App that enables First Nations to manage communications directly with their members. Real time community updates/news, resources, events, event registrations, polling/voting, and urgent community alerts allow administration and community members to rapidly share information and improve communications within a secure private system.

LOUIS Field is the new mobile application for users of the LOUIS Toolkit. It allows users to download and upload custom forms when they have an internet connection and edit and add information in the field without an internet connection. The LOUIS Toolkit is a data collection and decision support system designed for small and Indigenous communities with modules for physical asset management, cultural or historical research, spatial data collection and spatial planning and reviewing proposed developments. LOUIS Field allows for community staff to conduct asset inventories, inspect existing assets or document repairs on physical assets. LOUIS Field can also be used for environmental monitoring, research projects or to document spatially specific concerns on existing or proposed developments.
