Lex Equine's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. What's App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lex Equine sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for What's App against 5.0 for Lex Equine. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: What's App has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
