Dropium is the app for delivery drivers. It covers the working day from end to end: seeing what has to be delivered, scanning the parcels, recording proof of each delivery and dealing with whatever does not go to plan. WHAT IT DOES • Today's route. Deliveries and pickups in order, with each shipment's detail, the recipient's contact and the access instructions. • List or map. Each type of work has its own map view, sharing the same filter as the list and keeping its position when you switch back and forth. • Parcel scanning. With the handheld's laser scanner, a Bluetooth ring scanner, the phone camera or by typing the code. You choose the capture method once, based on the hardware you carry. • Proof of delivery. A photo of the parcel at the delivery point and the recipient's signature, with the time and place of the event. • Failed attempts. When a delivery does not happen, the reason is recorded with its evidence and the shipment is left in the right state for the next attempt. • Cash on delivery. The method and the amount collected are recorded. The app never asks for or stores card details. • First mile. The same route carries pickups at merchants and returns delivered back to them, with the parcel list for each stop. • Alerts. Notifications for route changes and incidents. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL A doorway, a basement or an industrial estate with no coverage should not stop the work. Everything you record is stored on the phone and sent on its own once the network is back. The pending queue is visible at all times: you can see what is still to upload, retry it and discard what no longer applies. YOUR LOCATION, UNDER YOUR CONTROL The app reads your position only at the moment you record an event, so a parcel's journey can be reconstructed if a claim is raised. There is no continuous tracking, none in the background, none while the app is closed and none outside your working hours. It is not used to assess your performance or to monitor your breaks. You can switch it off in "Profile > Privacy" at any time and without giving a reason: records keep working normally, they are simply stored without location. The same section holds the switches for error reports and usage statistics. Usage statistics stay off until you turn them on. LANGUAGES Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. ACCOUNT Dropium is a SaaS product for logistics companies: each client company creates accounts for its own staff, so there is no public sign-up in the app. The subscription is contracted directly with the company and there are no in-app purchases.
