Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EA Racenet at none against Freelook Head Tracker's 1. EA Racenet also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Freelook Head Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 53%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

EA Racenet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EA Racenet has 295 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Freelook Head Tracker's written reviews are positive against 53% of EA Racenet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Freelook Head Tracker ships an update weekly, EA Racenet every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
