Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Streetly at Free against Codepoint's $4.99. Streetly also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 weeks). Codepoint's advantage is chart position (#128 vs unranked) and ratings volume (41 vs 7). On rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Streetly is free to download; Codepoint costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Codepoint holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Codepoint has 41 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Streetly's written reviews are positive against 67% of Codepoint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Streetly ships an update every 3 days, Codepoint every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
