Access Point Maps is a GPS-enabled app that solves the complex problem of finding publicly-accessible rivers and streams for flyfishing. The solution is a simple and intuitive interface that shows publicly accessible land (in green) and private land (in red) along flyfishing rivers and streams. Where the public has lease access to private land for flyfishing, that access is shown too (in purple), along with easy places to park and find the river. Whether you are new to the sport, or new to an area, this app shows you where you can go so that you can confidently explore new rivers and streams. The current coverage area is limited to rivers near the Front Range of Colorado, but additional work is underway, and more coverage areas will be added soon. With Version 1.2.2, the subscription model is improved. The app is still free to download, and users can elect to join a monthly or yearly subscription as an in-app purchase. In either case, there is a 7-day free trial period, so that users can test out the functionality of the app for free, and cancel if they so choose. The requirement to join the subscription is presented immediately to the user upon download and launch. One improvement in this version is that there is functionality available without a subscription. Specifically, the South Platte watershed in Colorado is active and available for users to explore without a subscription. Additional watersheds and functionality are available with a subscription, which still includes a 7-day free trial period. Use of this app is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Additionally, the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are available in the App with a link at the bottom center of the subscription page and also at the bottom left of the active map. Those same Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy can also be accessed at the following website: https://www.accesspointmaps.com/about-3.

Inner Journey is a self-reflection app that helps you understand yourself more clearly — not through advice or therapy, but through your own answers. 15 chapters explore how you think, decide, respond to stress, connect with people, and move through life. Each chapter contains five carefully designed questions that surface patterns you may already sense but rarely examine. DISCOVER YOUR PATTERNS After completing a chapter, you uncover your dominant pattern — a clear reflection of how you tend to operate. No judgment. No fixing. Just awareness. A PORTRAIT THAT EVOLVES As you complete chapters, your patterns combine into a living Portrait — a deeper view of your strengths, tensions, and blind spots. Your portrait grows with every chapter you finish. DEPTH — YOUR FULL PICTURE (PREMIUM) Unlock the Depth section to explore your patterns more deeply: • Your Portrait — a synthesis of all your patterns • Your Constellation — how your patterns relate to each other • Tensions & Strengths — where patterns align or conflict • Shadows — curated videos, articles, and reflections for your blind spots One-time purchase. No subscription. DESIGNED FOR STILLNESS No notifications. No streaks. No gamification. Inner Journey is built for moments when you want to pause, reflect, and see yourself more clearly. WHAT THIS IS NOT This is not therapy. Not a habit tracker. Not a personality test with a fixed label. It is simply a mirror — one that becomes clearer the more you use it.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Journey at 5.0 against Access Point Maps's 4.3. Journey also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Access Point Maps's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Access Point Maps sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Journey sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Journey holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Access Point Maps has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Access Point Maps ships an update fortnightly, Journey every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
