Welcome to Velbit! Velbit (formerly known as 0bit) is a community-driven social network that introduces a lot of unique features, such as: chaotic mode, badges, different post types, and Discord integration! Chaotic mode is a setting that dispatches notifications to the receiving end of unfollows, unlikes, and unrequest. Badges are icons that are displayed on users profile. These badges can be obtained by participating in community events. The different post types that are operational as of now are text, photo, video, music, video game, cinema, and poll posts. With our Discord integration, your Discord will be tagged whenever someone runs a whois on your 0BIT profile. Along with that, our Discord bot (Bit Bot) will automagically sync your badges over from 0BIT to the Discord server! Terms of Use: https://support.obit.media/terms-of-use

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Velbit at 100% against BlueTusk's 50%. Velbit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (27 vs 2). BlueTusk's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Velbit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and BlueTusk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Velbit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Velbit has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Velbit ships an update every 2 weeks, BlueTusk every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 4, 2026.
