Verdict
Takko Friends and lak24 both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of lak24's written reviews are positive against 41% of Takko Friends's. lak24 also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Takko Friends's advantage is ratings volume (126 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
