Vikazimut
This app facilitates orienteering by replacing traditional maps and compasses. It allows users to navigate using a map, validate checkpoints via QR code or GPS, and provides post-course analysis of routes and statistics. It offers both race and walk modes, with the latter providing real-time positioning and cultural information.
- Digital map and compass replacement

Vikazimut is a project of students from the National Engineering School ENSICAEN which aims to facilitate the practice of orienteering sports. The application replaces the map, the compass and the control card and displays a retrospective analysis of the route taken. The orienteer uses the application to find the way using the map and validates the passage at the checkpoints manually with the Qr code or automatically with the GPS position. At the end of the course, the application displays some statistics: the total time, the split times and the course trace on the map. Vikazimut comes in two modes. A race mode where the orienteer is not helped for the position and a walk mode where the orienteer is positioned on the map in real time. In walk mode, some routes display cultural information at the checkpoints

e-FORT turns the data from your watch or bike computer into training decisions. Connect your Garmin Connect, Polar Flow, Wahoo or Apple Health account and your full history is analysed within seconds. No exports, no files to upload. SESSION ANALYSIS Normalised Power, Intensity Factor and Training Load on every ride, run or swim. Select any portion of an activity — a climb, a sprint, thirty seconds or three hours — and every metric recalculates instantly. No predefined segments, no imposed routes. Overlay two sessions to see exactly where the difference lies: pacing, power distribution, recovery. PHYSIOLOGICAL MODELS e-FORT implements published, validated models rather than proprietary scores: - Critical Power / W'Balance — anaerobic reserve computed second by second, with recovery kinetics that depend on the intensity of the recovery interval - Banister Fitness-Fatigue — 42-day fitness, 7-day fatigue, daily training stress balance - HRV-based calibration of effective FTP from morning readings Every model calibrates against your own history. The more data you accumulate, the more accurate the predictions become. AI COACH Ask questions in plain language: "Why did I blow up halfway up that climb?", "Am I ready for Saturday?". Answers are grounded in your actual data, explain the physiological mechanism, and give concrete targets — watts for cyclists, pace for runners, 100 m splits for swimmers. Every morning you receive a personalised coaching message based on your overnight HRV, resting heart rate and modelled fatigue: push, hold, or recover. RACE STRATEGY For a given course, e-FORT computes segment by segment the power distribution that minimises finishing time without exhausting your anaerobic reserve before the line. Full physics — aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, gravity, inertia — combined with your individual parameters. No GPX file? A photograph of the course profile is enough: distance, elevation and gradient are extracted automatically, metre by metre. SURGE ANALYSIS On rolling terrain and XCO/XCM racing, every effort above threshold is classified. An effective surge produces a lasting speed gain and justifies its cost. A wasted surge is followed by a speed loss with no terrain justification. The result is a quantified read of your racecraft, independent of your physiology. CONTENT Every session generates a shareable performance card automatically. Your videos — onboard, drone or phone — can be synchronised with your data, with power, heart rate, speed and altitude overlaid in real time. EVERY ENDURANCE SPORT Mountain biking, road, gravel, cyclo-cross, running, swimming, triathlon. One analytical engine across all disciplines. PRIVACY Your data belongs to you. You can export it or permanently delete your account at any time from within the app. e-FORT is co-designed with Barry Austin, UCI Level 3 coach, and validated in real conditions by world-class athletes. e-FORT is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
