TMC’s brand new app, TMC-e, has been designed to help fleet managers electrify their fleets with confidence. TMC-e tracks drivers journeys and assesses whether an electric vehicle would be suitable for a driver based on their trips. No hardware required! The app is quick and easy to deploy and enables you to gather insight into your fleet’s journeys quickly and accurately to inform your electrification strategy. In addition to collating information on the journeys, the app requests information on the drivers’ living arrangements to assess the feasibility of home charging. Questions include whether they have a home charger, whether their home is owned, mortgaged, rented or shared accommodation, type of accommodation and where the vehicle is kept overnight. They can edit this information at any time within the app. This provides an additional layer of information to assess the suitability of an electric vehicle for each driver as the majority of charging is currently done at home Drivers can set up parameters so the app only records their journeys on certain days/times, or they can set it to track all journeys. Drivers also have the option to categorise journeys as business, commute or private. For longer journeys, they can select whether they could have easily charged en route.

The Chainels app provides you with all the information you need about your community. Such as the latest news, relevant services and contact details of other participants.
