Every other recovery app tells you to rest. This one tells you what you can still load, and how heavy. Back to Beast is built for people who train and have picked up a sore shoulder, knee or back — and have no intention of sitting out for four months. TRAIN AROUND IT Tell it where it hurts and it rebuilds the week around that. The lifts that load the sore position get swapped for ones that don't. Legs, hinge, core and conditioning stay exactly where they were. Only the sore side waits. THE LADDER BACK For any lift you can't do right now, you get a ranked series of rungs from where you are to the full movement. Each rung opens when you clear a measured gate — not when a calendar says so. You can always see where you are and exactly what unlocks the next step. IT ADJUSTS MID-SET Flag pain on set three and set four changes. The app takes a rung off instead of stopping you, notes it against that movement, and starts you lower next time. Every adjustment is explained mechanically, and you can overrule any of it. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT KNOWS A phone camera can count reps and compare your two sides. It cannot tell you an angle in degrees, so this app doesn't pretend to. Readings that carry a real tolerance are labelled as such, and they're the only ones that go into the summary you can hand to a physio. TAKE IT TO A CLINICIAN A structured record of onset, pain, function, range and what you've actually been loading — the fifteen minutes an appointment usually spends on history, done before you walk in. ALWAYS FREE The safety check, the education library and your own history are free forever and are never behind the paywall. PRO, AND WHAT IT COSTS Pro is optional and adds the ladder back to your lift, sessions that adapt when something hurts, and the summary you can hand to a clinician. $20.99 per month, or $119 per year, each with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://backtobeast.com/privacy.html Back to Beast is a general wellness and fitness product. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, and does not replace advice from a qualified clinician.
