Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tally Atem at none against Switcher Pro's 1. Tally Atem also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 18.6). Switcher Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Switcher Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tally Atem asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tally Atem against 5.0 for Switcher Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tally Atem has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Tally Atem ships an update monthly, Switcher Pro every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
