Shared expenses should not outlive the trip. RoamTab is a focused travel tab for groups who want the answer without mandatory accounts, invitations, or a complicated finance system. One person keeps the shared record on one iPhone, and everyone can get back to the journey. CAPTURE THE WHOLE TRIP • Add people locally — nobody else needs to install the app • Create a trip and keep every expense in one calm timeline • Enter an expense manually or photograph a receipt • Review every scanned line item before saving • Assign each receipt item to the person who had it • Keep original currencies and confirm conversion to your trip currency • Use a reference rate, your own rate, or the actual amount charged SPLIT IT YOUR WAY • Split equally • Enter exact amounts • Use percentages or weighted shares • Leave people out of an expense when it is not theirs SETTLE WITHOUT THE SPREADSHEET • See who owes whom at a glance • Review spending by person or category • Reduce the final balance to a short list of transfers • Record full or partial repayments PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Trips, people, expenses, and settlements are stored locally on your device. An optional Sign in with Apple account restores linked Trip Pass access on another iPhone, not your trip data. RoamTab has no in-app ads, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking. Standard Apple Ads attribution is used only to measure RoamTab's own App Store campaigns. A receipt image leaves the device only when you choose to scan it, and receipt scanning requires an internet connection. RoamTab uses English and supports multiple trip and expense currencies. Reference-rate lookup requires an internet connection; manual rates work offline.
