Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Plusly Calculator at Free against µBrowser's $2.99. Plusly Calculator also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). µBrowser's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (104 vs 1). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Plusly Calculator is free to download; µBrowser costs $2.99 up front. Plusly Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per year. µBrowser asks for nothing beyond the download.
Plusly Calculator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: µBrowser has 104 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Plusly Calculator's written reviews are positive against 58% of µBrowser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Plusly Calculator ships an update monthly, µBrowser every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
