Sail with the tide in Blakeney, a hands-on sailing game set in the beautiful harbour waters of North Norfolk. Take the helm of a Cockle or Oyster sailing boat, explore by RIB, or pick the more powerful Sport 700. Follow winding channels past marshes and moored boats, head towards Blakeney Point and watch for seals and coastal birds along the way. Pull separate mainsheet and jib ropes to trim your sails, then cleat them to hold your settings. Steer with the tiller and adjust your centreboard as you respond to the wind and tide. Touch controls fade when idle, leaving more room to enjoy the view. Enjoy free sailing around The Pit, Blakeney, Morston and Cley. Switch camera views, look around your boat and use the collapsible map to find your way through the harbour. Ready for a race? Compete against three computer-controlled Cockles. Each new race brings a fresh breeze and a course chosen to suit the wind. Choose a one-minute or six-minute countdown and one to four laps, then judge your start, round the marks and sail for the finish. Practise your boat handling with five guided exercises covering upwind sailing, reaching, running, tacking and gybing. Experiment with sail trim and discover how your boat responds. Make your boat your own with a choice of colours, a personalised name and a sail number. Your saved design is ready for your next outing. Set the wind, weather, season and time of day. Enjoy a gentle sail, take on a fresher breeze or head out as the light changes towards sunset, with water, wildlife and harbour sounds around you.
