Mini Loops
Read full descriptionHide full description
One habit at a time, until it stops being a decision. Mini Loops sets up a single habit and the moment it follows. Each day it asks two things: did it happen, and how did it feel. Ten seconds. A loop is one day: your moment, the habit, and those ten seconds. Small enough to close on a bad day. ONE HABIT, NOT A LIST You set up a single habit and the moment it follows. Nothing else competes with it, and the next one waits until this one is steady. A VERSION FOR THE BAD DAYS Every habit gets a small version for the days that fall apart. It keeps the repetition going, and the repetition is what builds the habit. WHEN SOMETHING KEEPS GETTING IN THE WAY Mini Loops says what it noticed and suggests a change: a smaller size, a different moment. Nothing changes until you agree to it. NO STREAKS, NO SCORES Nothing to break, and nothing to lose on the day you miss. The only question it answers is whether this is getting easier. TEN SECONDS A DAY A nudge at your moment, and two taps to close the loop, straight from the notification if you like. WHEN IT IS STEADY When the habit stops being a decision, Mini Loops says so, and asks whether you want to start another. Building one habit teaches you how to build habits, and that is the part you keep. WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE The habit, your notes and your answers are kept on the device. The app reports anonymous usage counts (whether setup finished, whether a suggestion was accepted) and never a word you wrote. On newer iPhones the phrasing is done on the device, and it is only the phrasing. What Mini Loops suggests comes from your own answers. SUBSCRIPTION Mini Loops is a subscription, monthly or yearly, with a free trial on the yearly plan. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
