GatherQR vs Kit

QR codes can be read by the application and displayed later. This can be used in situations where QR codes are used, such as daycare attendance records and room entry/exit records. QR codes registered on your iPhone can also be displayed on your Apple Watch. On the Apple Watch, you can display QR codes even if your iPhone is not nearby, but you need to launch it near your iPhone to sync the data.

Kit reads every code, keeps your loyalty cards and tickets in one wallet, and makes QR codes that look good. Everything happens on your iPhone. No ads, and no account needed. SCAN ANYTHING • QR codes, shop barcodes, tickets, boarding passes, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417 • From the camera, a photo or a screenshot, one code or dozens in a row • Checks a link before you open it: fake brand addresses, shorteners and login traps are flagged • Does the next step for you: join the Wi-Fi, save the contact, add the event, open the menu YOUR CARDS, ALWAYS WITH YOU • Photograph a loyalty card once. Kit reads the barcode, or the printed number if there is none, and turns it into a barcode the checkout can scan • The photo becomes the card's face. Tap to flip to the back • Grocery, fuel, pharmacy, café, gym, library: sorted by type • Show it at checkout with full brightness, from a widget, Control Center, Siri or your Apple Watch TICKETS AT THE GATE • Concerts, matches, flights, cinema. Share a screenshot or a PDF to Kit and the ticket is saved • Kit reads the code, the date, the place and the seat.
