The rehearsal studio actors carry in their pocket. Break monologues into beats. Run scenes with every other role voiced for you. Rehearse with a real scene partner's recorded voice. And run the whole thing hands free: on your drive, on a walk, phone in your pocket. OffBookly is built for working actors who don't have time to wait for a scene partner, a coach, or the perfect studio. Run lines on the train. Drill cold reads before a self-tape. Master a monologue beat by beat, intention by intention. Turn the commute into one more rehearsal. REHEARSE WITH A REAL SCENE PARTNER Record your lines, share a 6-character code with your scene partner, and run the scene with their real recorded voice in place of the Reader. They record their part back on their own time. No schedules, no studio. Rehearse whenever you're ready, even offline once the scene is downloaded. Sending a scene is free, and so is joining one. When a partner who is new to OffBookly records their side, you both get 7 days of Pro. REHEARSE ON THE DRIVE WITH CARPLAY Traffic, errands, the commute: found time becomes reps. Your cue plays out loud (the Reader's voice or your scene partner's real recording), you speak your line, and the scene moves on. It's entirely by voice: say "skip line" or "hint line," and when the scene ends it replays on its own. Eyes on the road, hands on the wheel. Lines recalled out loud in the real world stick better than one more silent read-through. WHY ACTORS CHOOSE OFFBOOKLY Scene Partner: Record, share a code, and rehearse with your partner's real voice. Or let the Reader voice every other role for you. CarPlay Drive Rehearsal: Turn drives into reps. Cues out loud, full voice control, automatic replay. Beat Work: Break monologues into beats with intention tags. Understand before you memorize. Verse & Shakespeare: Verse keeps its line breaks in Beat Work and Read & Mark, with a Verse/Prose toggle. Early Modern English is handled properly: elisions, accented endings, archaic spellings. Scene Rehearsal: One-tap PDF upload. Every other role read aloud with realistic voices. Script Split: Drop in a feature-length screenplay. We pull every scene you're in. Word-by-Word Scoring: See what you nailed and what you dropped after every take. Flashcard Drill: Active recall, card by card. When you can do them in any order, you really know them. Hands-Free Mode: Say "skip line" or "hint line," or pocket the phone and use the playback controls right on your lock screen. Practice while you walk the dog or head to set. Audition Reminders: Set your audition date and get a nudge so you walk in ready. Offline-Ready: Practice on planes, on hikes, in dressing rooms. Your Library: Every monologue and scene you've drilled, always with you.
