The Otentik Code Reader is a free application for reading and verifying Visible Digital Seals (VDSs) that comply with the requirements of the Otentik trust network. The application verifies 2D barcodes (Datamatrix, QR Code and PDF417) compliant with the AFNOR Z42-105 standard and the Otentik Network extensions. This VDS encapsulates key data from a document in accordance with the associated use case. This data is electronically signed, enabling the Otentik Codes Reader to detect any tampering, to confirm the authenticity of the data and the legitimacy of the issuer. The reader displays the encoded information in a readable format, using one of the localized languages defined by the use case. The Otentik Codes Reader complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is non-intrusive and keeps no trace of your navigation. It can read encrypted QR codes and 1D Barcodes which are printed on educational documents printed by Veriseal Security Document. System, we provide as SEQR Documents, is used to generate such documents using a combination of peculiar security algorithms that creates a QR code & not-so-easy to duplicate security features. Not only the issuer of the documents can scan and obtain the certificate, also the public users can register for free and perform the same operations. This application, after scan, provides the preview of the certificate and other document data that can be compared with the in-hand document. Thus verifying documents of Veriseal Security Document is quick, free and easy via this application
