Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shawley's Propane at none against The Elder Scrolls Map's 5. Shawley's Propane also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.0). The Elder Scrolls Map's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
