PRIVATE AND SECURE AGE VERIFICATION WITH GOODID GO GoodID Go lets you prove that you meet the required age limit without revealing your identity or sharing more personal information than necessary. Use it to complete age checks at compatible vending machines and other services that require NFC-based identity document verification. WHAT IS GOODID GO USED FOR? Age verification at vending machines GoodID Go enables your phone to communicate securely with compatible vending machines. Scan the QR code displayed on or attached to the machine and complete the age check on your phone. The machine receives only the result needed to determine whether your purchase can continue. NFC-based document verification Some transactions require a document-based age check. In these cases, GoodID Go reads the secure NFC chip in a compatible identity document and uses the verified information to determine whether you meet the required age limit. The connected machine or service receives only the age-verification result - not your identity or document details. HOW IT WORKS Verify in advance: Select “How it works?” in the application and tap the ‘Verify my identity’ button. Then simply follow the instructions to complete the required liveness and NFC document checks. The app stores the age-verification result securely on your phone for future use. Verify during a purchase or login: Scan a compatible QR code with your phone's camera. GoodID Go opens and guides you through the age check. The connected service or machine receives only the result needed to continue. REUSE YOUR SAVED RESULT Your age-verification result can be reused on the same phone. When you select Verify my age or scan a compatible QR code, GoodID Go checks your saved result. If it meets the requirements, confirm that it is still you with a quick selfie. You can then continue without repeating the full document check. If additional verification is needed, the app guides you through the required steps. YOUR IDENTITY STAYS PRIVATE GoodID Go does not store your identity in the app. Personal information used during the age check is processed only to complete the verification. The app stores only the minimum result needed for future age checks - for example, confirmation that you are over 18. Your name, date of birth and identity document details are not shared with the connected vending machine or service. It receives only the information required to determine whether the transaction can continue. FOLLOWING EUROPE'S PRIVACY-FIRST AGE-VERIFICATION DIRECTION GoodID Go follows the same core principle as the EU Age Verification Blueprint: Verify the required age threshold without revealing the user's identity. When liveness and NFC-based document verification are enabled, GoodID Go combines a live-person check with verified information from the secure chip of a compatible identity document. GoodID's high-assurance technology establishes that the document belongs to the person completing the age check. The connected machine or service receives only the required age-verification result - for example, confirmation that the user is over 18. It does not receive the user's name, date of birth, identity or document details. This approach reflects two key principles of the EU Age Verification Blueprint: binding document-based age evidence to the person presenting the document and disclosing only the required age-over-threshold result. GoodID Go achieves these objectives using its own technical architecture.
