Welcome to TrapScores v. 3.0 A simple app to track your trap scores for each shooting position and selected range: American, Continental or International/Olympic. Can be run on both iPhone & iPad. Scoring can be entered with HIT & MISS buttons on the iPhone/iPad screen, or with a simple, inexpensive Bluetooth camera shutter remote... and now... also via Apple Watch! Apple Watch scoring entry is especially easy as the app does not need to be running on either iPhone or iPad. Scores are entered by Position for selected Range and then sent to the app on the iPhone or iPad via iCloud. Simple & easy. Note: TrapScores shares iCloud storage with my other app, MyClayScores, so your stored scoring for American, Continental and Olympic trap can be viewed in either app.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TrapScores at 5.0 against Shoot Station's 2.8. Shoot Station's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (25 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TrapScores holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shoot Station has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Shoot Station ships an update every 3 days, TrapScores every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
