Tripover vs Chums

It's easiest to stay at home. The couch is comfy, the Wi-Fi is fast and nobody makes you walk 12 km. Tripover is for everyone who goes anyway: self-guided audio walking tours, honest reports from travelers who've been there, and people to talk to in any language. WALK LIKE YOU KNOW THE PLACE Forget the umbrella-waving guide and the bus full of strangers. Pick a city, put your phone in your pocket and walk. Each stop opens when you actually get there, tells you its story and points you to the next one. • Short stops with stories, tips and photos, right where you're standing • Narrated, so your eyes stay on the city, not on the screen • Not there yet? Take the Virtual Walk from your sofa. We won't judge. • Capture photos and videos on the way. Every finished walk lives on your profile. • Walking Tours are free, and so is English narration BRING THE CREW • Start a group walk, share a QR code and go • Everyone reads and hears the tour in their own language • See where everyone is on the map. No more "wait, where did everyone go?" KNOW IT BEFORE YOU LAND Guidebooks are written once. Travelers report every day. • Real reports on safety, scams, transport, money and culture, country by country and city by city • Danger and warning notices on the map, plus live cameras from around the world • Traveler scores for culture, safety, transport and prices • Visa Center: where your passport takes you, and what you need to get in MAKE FRIENDS IN ANY LANGUAGE • Find someone who speaks the language you're learning and wants to learn yours • Correct each other's messages, save new words and review them later • Become a Culture Ambassador and swap stories about your countries • Every post, comment and message translates into your language with one tap YOUR TRIP. YOUR STORY. • Log every country you've visited or lived in, with photos and videos • Rate it, map your route and pin your favorite places • Watch your world map fill up and your traveler rank climb Stop saving travel videos. Start walking.
