ScanKit vs Train Those Lips by 65square

IDEA ScanKit facilitates the extraction of extensive spatiotemporal data from Apple devices with LiDAR Scanners in order to enable researchers to perform external processing with data that would otherwise be only accessible through custom apps. DATA According to the users' selection, raw data is collected in form of RGB videos of a specified quality, ARKit depth data, and ARKit confidence data. QRCodes can be detected and ARWorldMap information from ARKit can also be directly saved to disk in a JSON format. Point clouds are generated automatically on the fly and are saved in the .las file format.

DEFEND is a volunteer-run nonprofit looking to reduce risks for children and vulnerable people online. We are building 65square, the world's healthiest social media platform.  Train Those Lips is being used for testing and training of our AI lip-reading model. It uses 1-second videos sent by users to train the model. Eventually this data will be used to build secure login services for 65square. Users push one button to record clips and it automatically uploads to our servers. Users will only speak numbers zero through nine. Once sent to our AI server, it will produce a "guess" of the number spoken, solely based on the lip movements in the video. The app will inform the user of the AI's "guess". The user can then vote whether it was accurate or not. Collect points every time you submit a video and the more you points you collect can be redeemed for volunteer hours with our nonprofit.
