MorbidMeter
Read full descriptionHide full description
What if your entire lifespan was compressed into a single year, or a single month, day, or hour? What would be the precise day, hour, minute, second right now in that compressed time period? Or maybe you're curious how many days, hours, minutes or seconds you've been alive, or how many of those precious moments you have left. MorbidMeter is a perverse standalone watch app that puts your lifespan into perspective using various timescales that are easier (or sometimes harder) to grasp than an actual lifetime. MorbidMeter can also be used as a countdown widget to count down to other (not as morbid) events, such as retirement or graduation. Time is running out -- MorbidMeter lets you know how quickly!
Modal Soul
This app helps you understand how you spend your day by making your intentions explicit. It provides a visual retrospective of your day's activities without any nagging notifications or scheduling features.
- Set explicit daily intentions
- View intentions on lock screen
- Retrospective daily visualization
- No notifications or reminders
- No scheduling features
- Focus on one intention at a time

Modal Soul is an experiment in understanding how days are spent and in making intent more explicit. Personally, I've been using it to explore the disconnect between where I feel my time is going, and where it actually goes. What it does: - Make your intention explicit at any time of day and allow you to see it even when your phone is locked. For example 'Work', or 'Relax', or 'Sleep'. - See a retrospective visual depiction of how you spent your day. What it does not do: - Nag you. There are no notifications or reminders. - Tell you what to do. It's up to you to decide your priorities. - Tell future you what to do. There's no scheduling. - Hold you accountable. It's up to you to ask yourself whether your actions are in line with your intention. - Anything at the granularity of a task. You are limited to one intention at a time and a maximum of 6 intentions (although you can edit them). Give it a try! If it helps you in any way, please leave a review or contact me.
