Learning the Unit Circle can be tough—but it doesn’t have to be! Whether you’re preparing for a math test, brushing up on trigonometry, or just want a quicker way to recall key values, CircleMap turns study time into a fun, interactive experience—with two powerful learning modes. What is the Unit Circle—and How Does Polar Graphs Fit In? The Unit Circle is a powerful math concept that connects angles, radians, and coordinates to trigonometric functions. Mastering it is essential for high school and college trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus. But understanding only the Unit Circle isn’t enough—many students struggle to see how it relates to other systems like Polar and Cartesian coordinates. That’s why CircleMap includes Polar Graphs Mode, so you can input polar equations and instantly see them plotted in both Polar and Cartesian systems, making the connection crystal clear. Key Features Unit Circle Quiz Mode • Interactive Quizzes – Practice angles, radians, and coordinates in multiple quiz modes. • Customizable Focus – Choose degrees, radians, coordinates, or mix them for a full challenge. • Instant Feedback – See right away if you’re correct and track your score. • Adjustable Difficulty – Beginner-friendly or advanced challenge mode. • Optional Sound & Haptic Feedback – Make learning more engaging with audio and vibration cues. Polar Graphs Mode • Equation Input – Enter your own polar equations. • Dual-System Visualization – Instantly see your graph in both Polar and Cartesian forms. • Real-Time Exploration – Slide the value of θ to dynamically update the graph and watch how the Polar and Cartesian points change together. • Concept Reinforcement – Understand how the two coordinate systems connect through visual examples. Why You’ll Love It Unlike textbooks that only show static diagrams, CircleMap brings math to life. You’ll actively test yourself, explore polar equations, and see how concepts fit together—all in one app. Perfect for: • High school & college students studying trigonometry, precalculus, or calculus • SAT, ACT, AP Calculus, or AP Trigonometry preparation • Anyone who wants to strengthen their math foundation in a fun, visual way Once You Truly Understand… With CircleMap, you’ll: • Recall Unit Circle values faster and more accurately • See exactly how Polar and Cartesian systems connect • Solve trigonometric and coordinate geometry problems with confidence Start Learning Today The Unit Circle and Polar–Cartesian connection don’t have to be intimidating. With CircleMap, you’ll gain confidence, accuracy, and speed—all while having fun. Download CircleMap now—two modes, zero ads, and 100% free.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: GraphMath at 5.0 against CircleMap's 4.5. GraphMath also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). CircleMap's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

GraphMath holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GraphMath has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

GraphMath ships an update fortnightly, CircleMap daily. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and June 2, 2026 respectively.
