The VC-SM Commissioning app is used by elevator technicians to commission and configure VC-SM elevator monitoring units during installation. VC-SM units are installed onto elevators to collect operational and performance data, which is then monitored by building owners and operators. This app provides a structured, step-by-step workflow to ensure each VC-SM unit is correctly installed, configured, and calibrated for its specific building and elevator. Technicians securely log in to access assigned sites and buildings, connect to VC-SM units via Bluetooth, and complete the full commissioning process directly from their mobile device. Key features include: • Secure login with access to site and building data via the Vantage Connect API • Building selection assisted by device location • Bluetooth connection to VC-SM units for local configuration • Input/output (I/O) configuration for elevator integration • Sensor calibration, including ride quality and door sensors • Elevator alarm recording and setup • Floor configuration for accurate elevator tracking • Guided final commissioning test to validate installation The VC-SM Commissioning app streamlines the setup process, reduces installation errors, and ensures each unit is correctly configured for reliable elevator monitoring.
