Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Skipit at 100% against COS.TV's 76%. Skipit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). COS.TV's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Skipit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: COS.TV has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of COS.TV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Skipit's.
COS.TV ships an update every 5 months, Skipit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
