Ora is a world clock app, in the most literal sense possible. Like any good world clock, it lets you see the time in different locations around the globe; but unlike others, it can show you those times on an actual globe, and you can use Time Travel to see different times. This is especially useful if you work across time zones, or are following events in other time zones; for all those times you might ask questions like “What time is it in New York when it’s 3pm in London?”.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Ora at 4.9 against World Clock's 4.4. Ora also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (70 vs 8). World Clock's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Ora holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ora has 70 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
World Clock ships an update every 6 months, Ora every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
