You saw the spike. You just didn’t know why. Sales jumped. Downloads dropped. You shipped a new version, or maybe you got featured somewhere. But most charts only showed you the numbers — not the story behind them. Driven connects the dots. It pulls your live App Store data — sales, downloads, version releases — and overlays them on a clear timeline. You can add notes, stories, and key events to explain what really happened. No more guessing what caused a spike. No more wondering why growth slowed. From indie devs to small teams, Driven helps you understand your app’s journey — one moment at a time. Here’s what you can do with Driven: - Track real-time sales and revenue across countries - Receive Push Notifications for free trials, conversions and cancellations - Map version releases to performance trends - Add your own stories: launches, bugs, tweets, promos - Review your timeline when things move — and know why Subscription: Driven requires subscription for continuous access. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Driven at 5.0 against Applytics's 4.4. Driven also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Applytics's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Applytics sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Driven sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Driven holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Applytics has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Applytics ships an update monthly, Driven every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
